Family
Background
Where were you born and grew up?
Aaron was born on an Army base near Tacoma, Washington, so he was an Army
brat. He moved to a farm town in the country in Ohio when he was around
two.
Do you have siblings and are your parents
still alive?
He has an older brother, 33 and younger sister, 21 but is not close to
either of them. His parents were separated when he was young, and he was
raised by his father, who is now an ordained minister.
What was your favourite thing to do/play
as a child?
As a child, Aaron joined the Boy Scouts and became a Scoutmaster at a
relatively young age. He loved baseball and was always a pitcher. At the
age of 14, he began spending time at the fire station, helping out but
not officially able to become a firefighter until he turned 18.
In high school, I would have been voted
most likely to…
Become a firefighter.
Music background
Do you sing or play a musical instrument
(been in a choir or a band)?
“When I sing, I sound like a drunk bullfrog,” and he has taken
a bit of guitar, but there is not enough time for it now. He’s “just
a listener, I guess.”
Who were your major musical influences
growing up and now?
Growing up, he was influenced by older country and what his dad listened
to on the radio. Now, he is a fan of “good music”, whether
it be rock or light rock. He feels he has always been able to “interpret
good music”, and good musicians.
If you could play only one style of music,
what would it be and why?
Aaron said that would be a hard choice, but he would play rock because
of the diversity of the artists and music styles.
The Real World
Are you married or in a serious relationship?
If so, how long?
Currently, Aaron is single and says there is not a lot of time for a relationship.
Do you have children? If so, how many
and ages?
No. But he does have a kitty-cat!
What do you do for a living?
Aaron is a paramedic for the EMS in his town. He is also currently going
to school fulltime and will eventually become an MD or a Physician’s
Assistant.
What do you do for enjoyment, other than
chatting and streaming?
Streaming and chatting are both new for Aaron. He
had a break from school and was checking out the chat rooms. He found
that TLC was one of the few “non-pickup” rooms he stumbled
upon. So, streaming and chatting are part of what he likes to do to relax.
He is an avid reader as well.
Miscellaneous
If you could sit down to dinner with anyone,
alive or dead, who would it be and why?
When he was younger he started watching racing. Dale Earnhart became his
idol for a few reasons. Dale reminded him of his dad, both were raised
in the country and loved country life and because Dale had a similar sense
of humour. Aaron says that Dale was, and still is, a great inspiration
to him, even though he is no longer with us. The quote in his profile
is from Dale.
Tonight you can do anything you want (no
money/geographic restrictions), what would you do?
Aaron would love to get away to someplace warm; perhaps his favourite
place in the Cayman Islands.
What is your personal philosophy on life?
“Man has the ability to be whatever he wants to be, you just need
to go get it.” His philosophy comes from the Greek philosopher,
Pico.
Aaron, you are the newest streamer on
the team. What made you want to join?
He says that when he first came into TLC, everyone was so nice to him.
He asked what streaming was and Becca explained it to him and he was very
interested. Everyone has a bit of a dream to be on the radio, and he likes
that you can play what you want and that others are listening and you
are making them happy. “Making other people happy is the biggest
thing.”
